Welcome to My Durga Puja 2011. I am sharing my photographs of Durga Puja 2011, taken in Kolkata during my India visit. This was the first time in my life that I stayed and got a chance to see Maa Durga's home coming in the city. The adoration and devotion in Her people's hearts breathes life into the Goddess, She takes over our lives for these 10 days of the festival. Here are glimpses from this magical time, photographs that are very precious to me. This is not a religious blog, this is only a part of the beautiful basket of festivals that we Indians have.
